Susan Lives in the Florida coastal community of Palm Harbor.  Her watercolor paintings and colored pencil drawings are greatly influenced by the seaside surroundings of the Gulf Coast.  She brings a feminine perspective of nature achieved by Plein Air and Studio painting using clear clean bright transparent watercolors in a loose free style or colored pencils on sanded pastel paper.

As a graduate from SanJose State with a BS degree in Business she pursued a career in accounting as a CPA. While working she kept her soul alive by taking art classes, sharpening her skills as an artist by attending workshops, and retreats concentrating on watercolor, colored pencil and drawing.

She has had a colored pencil piece in CPSA’s International Colored Pencil Show.  Her work has won many awards and she has created a following by participating in fine art and craft festivals throughout the state of Florida and has had her paintings in galleries around the local area, including the Rotary Central Nature Center at Honeymoon Island State Park.

Susan is one of the owners of Tarpon Art Guild in the heart of the Art and Antique District of Tarpon Springs, Florida. The Gallery features Original Paintings and Fine Crafted items from local artist. The Guild strives to advance the visual arts culture with additional opportunity for local artists to display their art to the public. Her art has been on display at Tarpon Art Guild since February 2018.  Her day to work at the Guild is Friday where she also teaches watercolor painting from 11am to 1pm Friday.  Tarpon Art Guild is located at 161 E.
